About Us
History of Fowler
Early 1970s
Jim and Candace Fowler founded a small construction firm in Dallas, Oregon, with just a bulldozer and a pull scraper. By building logging roads and ponds, the company laid a solid foundation for future growth.
Late 1970s
Fowler diversified into residential real estate development, with the first major project being what is now the River Gleann subdivision in Dallas, Oregon. This marked an entry into premium residential developments in the mid-Willamette Valley.
Late 2000s
Fowler Homes began building custom homes in Dallas and played a key role in community-centered projects like the Wilder Subdivision in Newport, reflecting a commitment to creating quality homes and communities.
Now
Fowler has expanded into attached housing, including apartments, townhomes, and high square footage residences, while continuing to push boundaries in residential and commercial development throughout the Willamette Valley, Oregon Coast, and beyond.
